Drop off your tax documents in our office

Live close to our Livonia, MI office? Dropping off your documents is one of the easiest ways to file your taxes with AFS Taxsavers. Follow the steps below.

Fill Out Our Client Questionnaire

Save time in the lobby.

Be sure we have your current information by filling out our questionnaire before visiting our office. Let our front desk know that your filled out your questionnaire online.

You can download and print the questionnaire using the buttons below. Please include a copy of your questionnaire with your tax documents.

STEP 2

Gather Your Documents

To make the process goes as smooth as possible, please have drop off all of your tax documents at once. Use this list as a guide.

Please include the form from step 1 with your tax documents.

Claim Free Tax Organizer

Bring all that apply:

Form from step 1
Social Security or other taxpayer ID numbers for you, your spouse, and dependents
Birth dates for you, your spouse, and dependents
Income statements: Forms W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, etc.
Interest and dividends statements from banks, brokerages, etc.
Form 1098 from your mortgage lender
A copy of last year’s tax return
Bank routing and account numbers
The amount you paid for childcare and the childcare provider’s tax identification number
Receipts for charitable donations

STEP 3

Drop off your tax documents

Use our 24-hour secure drop box, Service Window, or simply walk into our
office and our friendly staff will assist you in dropping off your documents.

STEP 4

Pick up and sign your tax return

Our experienced tax preparers work on tax returns drop off in our office on a first come basis. Once your taxes are completed, your will be notified via email/text to come sign your tax return at your convenience.

You also can pay and sign on your secure portal. Remember, if you sign and pay on the portal, we will still have all of your original documents. If you use the portal to sign and pay for your return, you have a few options for your original tax documents.
